Seashell Diversity
Pacific Coast Intertidal Life
The Natural History Museum has an extensive collection of seashells from around the world. This recent display demonstrates the diversity amongst these organisms from the cooler waters of the Pacific Ocean to warmer tropical depths.
This updated display challenges you to come in and test your knowledge of what intertidal sea life you could find on the coastal shores of Vancouver Island.
Can you identify some of these intertidal zone animals?
Sea Birds
The collection of sea birds and water fowl is currently being constructed with a beautiful back drop painted by a VIU student.
