Vancouver Island Marmot
This new display is one the Museum of Natural History is proud of. This fellow will greet you as you enter into the museum. He is a representative of the creatures we hear so much about, yet very rarely have an opportunity to view due to the area they call home, the mountains of Vancouver Island. The Vancouver Island Marmot is currently listed as an endangered species.
