The Engineering Transfer programs are a pathway for into engineering studies at most post-secondary institutions in British Columbia and into the University of Alberta.
In the Engineering programs at most other engineering schools in Canada students take a common set of first year of courses and then chose an engineering discipline when they go into second year. The VIU Engineering programs offer the all courses in theBC Common First-Year Engineering Curriculum. They prepare you to continue your studies at:
- University of Victoria (UVic)
- University of British Columbia (U of A)
- Thompson Rivers University (TRU)
- Simon Fraser University (SFU
- University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC)
- University of Alberta (U of A)
