BC Park Ranger Paid Practicum
Students are required to participate in a 2-week practicum at an off-campus location in the Fall semester of the second year. Students are encouraged to seek employment with a resource management protection agency, or work related to natural resource enhancement or monitoring during the summer between first and second year.
Degree
Student enrolled in the degree program are required to participate in a four month field practicum in the fall of fourth year. In this extended practicum, students are able to choose an off-campus field placement with either an enforcement or a resource management agency. They will be involved in projects that will benefit both the student and the agency.
