Nanaimo Coding Club

We are pleased to announce the Nanaimo Coding Club will be held again at the Nanaimo campus of VIU.

This is a student-run club supervised by Sarah Carruthers, Chair and Professor of Computer Science at VIU. Our computing science students develop and run all the lessons, and benefit greatly from this opportunity to give back to the community.

This six-session weekly club meets on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30pm from February 8, 2022 to March 22, 2022 with no session on February 22 for reading week.

Due to COVID guidelines, there is a cap of 11 students for this class, and all students aged 12+ will need to provide proof of vaccination, and masks must be worn at all times.

Ages: 10-15

Attendance: In-person

Dates: Tuesdays at 6 - 7:30 pm

Cost: $60 + tax for six 1.5 hour sessions
