We are pleased to announce the Nanaimo Coding Club will be held again at the Nanaimo campus of VIU!
About this program
We are pleased to announce the Nanaimo Coding Club will be held again at the Nanaimo campus of VIU.
This is a student-run club supervised by Professors of Computer Science at VIU. Our computing science students and professors develop and run all the lessons, and benefit greatly from this opportunity to give back to the community.
This six-session weekly club meets on Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm from October 9 - November 20. There will be no session November 13th due to due to VIU Reading Break.
Ages: 10-15
Attendance: In-person
Location: Building 250 Room 115, Nanaimo VIU campus (Campus Map)
Cost: $60 + tax for six 1.5 hour sessions
If you are on our list, you can expect an email with program and registration information in mid-late September. Registration is here via EventBrite.
UPDATE: registration is now closed as all fall 2024 spaces have been booked.
Join our email list for updates on when you can register for the next Coding Club series by emailing STEMantics@viu.ca. VIU plans to run a spring 2025 session from February to late March/early April, and you will receive an email in January letting you know the details.
